Bathroom sinks can also be purchaed with a single handle faucet that allows for water temperture control by manuevering it from side to side. Another option is that of a two-handle faucet which allows one side to control hot water and the other side to control cold.
Size
Bathroom sinks should be kept shallow. Keep in mind the activities that you will do at the bathroom sink. If you wash your hair or shave in the sink instead of the shower, then it would be beneficial to have a sink that does not have elevated sides.
